OZ Kids™ GRIT Crit at Bentonville Enduro!

Saturday, November 23 | 1:00 p.m. | at 3100 Price Coffee Road

Introducing the OZ Kids™ GRIT Crit – a bike race carved through the fields off Price Coffee Road for kids ages 2 -10. This event will be a fall fueled fun fest. It will be EPIC!

Race categories:

  • Balance Bike Ages 2-3

  • Balance Bike Ages 4-6

  • Pedal Bike Ages 3-4

  • Pedal Bike Ages 5-6, Girls

  • Pedal Bike Ages 5-6, Boys

  • Pedal Bike Ages 7-8, Girls

  • Pedal Bike Ages 7-8, Boys

  • Pedal Bike Ages 9-10, Girls

  • Pedal Bike Ages 9-10, Boys

Each racer will get a numbered race plate with a timing chip...because they are LEGIT...and a totally rad medal. The top three times in each category will stand on a podium and collect their prize!

Festivities will be in the Price Coffee field directly across from the Valley View School House. Registration is required for all racers. Space for the race is limited. Race fee is $20.

OZ Kids™ GRIT Crit at Bentonville Enduro November 23rd Schedule:

11:00 a.m. - On-site packet pick-up opens - 3100 Price Coffee Road, Bentonville, AR 72712 (early packet pick-up times and locations noted below)

12:00 p.m. - Course opens for warmup rides

1:00 p.m. - Races begin - any necessary adjustments to race schedule will be communicated the week prior

  • 1:05: Balance Ages 2-3 (one lap) -staging/ line up at 1:00

  • 1:15: Balance Ages 4-6 (one lap) - staging/line up at 1:05

  • 1:25: Pedal Ages 3-4 (one lap) - staging/line up at 1:15

  • 1:35: Pedal Ages 5-6, Girls (two laps) -staging/ line up at 1:25

  • 1:45: Pedal Ages 5-6, Boys (two laps) - staging/line up at 1:35

1:55 p.m. - Podium awards for Ages 2-6 

2:05 p.m. - Races continue

  • 2:05: Pedal Ages 7-8, Girls (five minutes + one lap full course)- staging/ line up at 2:00

  • 2:15: Pedal Ages 7-8, Boys (five minutes + one lap full course)-staging/ line up at 2:05

  • 2:25: Pedal Ages 9-10, Girls (eight minutes + one lap full course)-staging/ line up at 2:15

  • 2:35: Pedal Ages 9-10, Boys (eight minutes + one lap full course)-staging/ line up at 2:25

2:45 p.m. - Podium for ages 7-10

Racers must be on-site and ready to go, with their wrist band on and race plate affixed to their bike, 30 minutes prior to their race start time.

We recommend taking advantage of EARLY PACKET PICK UP on the following days:

Thursday, November 21: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Ozark Foundation warehouse located at 408 SW 8th Street (next to Rolling Taco)

Friday, November 22: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Ozark Foundation warehouse located at 408 SW 8th Street (next to Rolling Taco)

Race Rules:

  • Helmets are mandatory

  • Must have flat handlebars (no road bikes)

  • Bar ends plugged (no holes in the end of the handlebars)

  • Knobby tires

  • Working brakes (excluding balance bike categories)

  • No BMX Pegs

  • Closed toed shoes are mandatory

  • Good sportsmanship

  • Hands on bars the entire race

  • No wheelies, no feet on handlebars (yeah, we had to add that)

Organizers have full discretion to call out safety issues.
